My computer says it has the NetSky computer virus. I cannot boot into safe mode, access registry or or do a virus scan- the computer shuts down (NR\ AUTHORITY shutdown) every 60 seconds. Is there a way to stop the shut down & gain acess of Admin controls to stop this thing?

This is a philosophical question. I realize that a computer virus is a set of instructions and has no actual weight. But ultimately it must be traced back to some physical basis, with a quantifiable mass. Otherwise, we’re looking at another “ghost in the machine”.
